KATHMANDU: Actress Rekha Thapa will be seen in a negative role for the first time in an upcoming film Diarry. At a press meet held at Mandala Theatre, Anamnagar on September 6, it was announced that Diarry will be directed by Anil Yonjan. "The audience will get to see Rekha Thapa's new avatar as a villain in it and I think they will love her as negative Rani," Yonjan said. Thapa however was not present at the event.
Written by Chheten Gurung, the film is a love story with subplots of revenge and friendship. Diarry will also star Chuulthim Gurung, Sunny Singh, Raju Lama, Kushal Bista, Dinesh DC and Rupa Rana in the lead roles. To be shot in Kathmandu, Simara and Birgunj, it will go on the floors on September 11.
