Saptari returned UML leaders: a press conference in Kathmandu


CPN (UML) has condemned the act of vandalizing its offices at different districts in the Tarai and of threatening party cadres. At a news conference organised at Party Headquarters at Dhumbarahi on Tuesday, the CPN (UML) said that the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) should take all responsibility of Saptari incident as it was the UDMF cadres who tried to disrupt the peaceful campaign of the CPN (UML).
A press release issued by Party General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel claimed that the CPN (UML) exercised restraint even after vehicles carrying leaders and cadres of the campaign were attacked, black flags shown and banners torn.
