CPN-UML candidate has emerged victorious at Mahakal rural municipality in Lalitpur district. Ram Chandra Dahal of CPN-UML defeated Nepali Congress candidate Bhimsen Ghimire to become the chairperson of Mahakal rural municipality. Dahal secured 2,080 against 1,722 votes of Ghimire. Likewise, UML's deputy mayoral candidate obtained 2,263 against 1,399 of her arch rival Sushila Adhikari of NC. RSS
