Charikot (Dolakha), May 14: A cadre of the Nepali Congress died in a police firing opened to tame a clash erupted between the cadres of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML at Melung rural municipality of Dolakha Sunday afternoon. It is learnt that the security persons were compelled to open firing to tame the rowdy situation occurred at Pabati voting centre of Melung rural municipality. The one killed in police firing is NC cadre Nukul Bhujel, said assistant Chief District Officer Yagya Raj Bhatta, adding that some others were also injured in the clash.
